Product Description:
Booths Semi Porcelain, ‘Indian Ornament’ Pattern, Soup Plate. Manufacturer – Booths, Church Bank Pottery, Tunstall, Staffordshire
Decorated with the iconic Indian Ornament pattern in lovely, rich blue on a pure white ground.
Makers Mark /Identifying Features: A blue, printed ‘Booths Royal Semi Porcelain’ mark together with the pattern name ‘ Indian ornament’.
Estimated Age:1905 – 1920
Condition: The decoration is extremely crisp and bright. There are some browning marks on the edge and the back, as seen in photos and what appears to be a very small hairline crack (also in the photo at the bottom of the plate). This being said, the plate is nice enough condition to use if so wished as the eating surface is in relatively good condition.
Please keep in mind that our items are most often vintage or antique, sometimes many decades or even a century or two old, so they will show some signs of wear and usage. These are not mint items from the factory (unless we specifically say so). We include in our item condition and pictures any issues that are significant, however cannot cover every single condition possibility with photos.
