You will not pay anything for shipment - our gift to you!
At Rummage Antiques, we take care in packing and sending your valued vintage and antique items. Wherever possible, we aim to dispatch orders within 2–5 working days from receipt of payment. Dispatch may take slightly longer for items held at partner locations or antique centres; if so, we will notify you.
Delivery charges are calculated based on the size, weight and number of items in your order, and are shown at checkout before you complete payment. Our delivery options include:
UK Mainland Delivery: Standard tracked courier services (typically Royal Mail or InPost) or a specialist antique courier for larger pieces.
International Delivery: Not currently available, however, this is something we will be looking to do in the future.
Example UK delivery range:
Smaller items (china, glassware, ceramics): from £5.95
Larger or oversize items (decorative pieces etc.): from £24.95
Free delivery thresholds may apply for UK orders above a set value (see checkout for current offers).
Certain remote UK postcodes (e.g. Northern Ireland, Highlands, Islands) may incur additional surcharges. If you are outside the UK mainland, please
contact us for a quote.
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information where available. Please ensure you enter a correct mobile number and email address at checkout to receive updates.
We are an online shop only. Unfortunately, we do not have physical shop premises that you could drop into with no notice.
However, if you would prefer to collect your purchase in person (for local buyers near Pickering, North Yorkshire), this option is available. Please contact us immediately after making your purchase during the same or next working day, and we can arrange a collection date and time.
Please do this to confirm your item is ready before travelling. Your delivery charge will be refunded following collection.
Antiques and vintage items can be delicate. Our packing team uses professional materials to minimise movement and risk of damage in transit. For particularly fragile, bulky, or valuable items, we may recommend specialist delivery or collection only—these will be clearly marked on the product page.
