Product Description:
Set of three nearly identical cut glass Georgian Rummer Glasses, in fantastic condition, showing all the expected signs of glasses from this period. Heavy, solid and no chips or cracks – these glasses came in a set and will be sold in a set. Would be a great addition to any table or to keep you company on the sofa! filled with a nice beer (ale) or indeed a soft lemonade drink which I understand they would have been used for.
Makers Mark /Identifying Features: Ground pontil mark on the base, glass seeds, air bubbles, black grit, heavy dark metallic glass and evidence of wear on the foot of each glass.
Estimated Age: believed to be c1780 due to above features.
Condition:
Excellent for the age. Would be pleasurable to drink from.
