Japanese, Meiji Period, Akira Kokorozashi Satsuma round plate. Beautiful painted colours and gold gilt.

Makers Mark /Identifying Features: see base – Ming Zhi – 明志 – Akira Kokorozashi

Estimated Age: 1868-1912

Condition:  Excellent for age, no cracks or chips. Crazing is evident in the yellow coloured base china, which is considered the norm with Satsuma ware.
